Good morning starshines! The earth says hello! Tee hee, happy Monday! I was battling a cold all weekend which made it really hard to get pumped up for hitting the gym, but I finally went on Sunday. I could definitely tell my body isn’t completely over the illness because my heart was racing! I burned over 400 calories on a 3 mile run?!?!?! Strange, here are my stats:
Duration: 35 mns
Max heart rate: 210 (!!!)
Avg heart rate: 151
Cals: 401
Not normal stats for a 3 mile run that’s for sure, what’s up with that max heart rate? I never went faster then 6 mph!!! I start my training for the half marathon today. Today is a cross training day so I plan to hit up the elliptical after I get off work tonight. I meant to go this morning but when I got up the messy house was calling me so I cleaned for about half hour then it was to late to go.
We had a very tasty Sunday diner last night, a yummy stir fry creation:
I haven’t yet figured out how to edit photos from my new camera so sorry if their poorly cropped! This yummy stir fry included rice noodles, chicken, baby corn, bean sprouts, bok choi, water chestnuts, green onions, and some store bought brown sauce. We also had some all natural frozen crab rangoons on the side, I had about 3. For desert we split a yummy Asian pear, these usually for for $3.99 each at my grocery store so I have never gotten one, but yesterday they were on sale for $.99!
This was ONE PEAR! These things are humongous! And extremely tasty!
Bret’s in the kitchen right now making us some omelets with asparagus and leftover bok choi, I’ll be back tonight with pics of today’s eats as well as stats from my first half marathon training workout!
Have a great Monday!
