Happy Happy Happy Tuesday everyone! I’m glad today is over! Tomorrow is my short day at work (because I would normally have chem lab all day) and then I have Thursday off and then it’s just a sleigh ride into the weekend! I thought I would share with you my upcoming weeks training schedule for the half:
Monday: X train (did 30 minutes of upper body lifting and 10 easy minutes on the elliptical, trying not to push myself since I still have this stupid cold!!!)
Tuesday: Easy 2 mile run
Wednesday: X train, plan to do 30 minutes on ellipt at moderate intensity and 5-10 minutes on StairMaster
Thursday: Tempo run, 5 miles including 3 half mile segmants of at least 6 mph (a sprint for me!!)
Friday: X train, plan on weights circuit plus 20 mnts on ellipt + 5 on StairMaster (great leg workout!)
Saturday: Rest day or ellipt X train
Sunday: 6 mile run
I am sssoooo ready to get rid of this cold and be able to really push myself physically again! I am hoping and praying I get over it before Thursday’s planned long run!
I don’t have much to report on food wise. To be honest I haven’t really been putting much effort or thought into food since I’ve been sick as nothing has any taste. We’ve been hitting up Subway quite a bit taking advantage of the $5 foot longs, big enough for 2 meals, quick, easy, and a good way to get in some veggies! I’ll be more interesting with food when my taste buds come back!!!
I wasn’t sure if I mentioned this or not but next Tuesday (Jan 6th) I’m heading up to Milwaukee to meet with some clients about modeling jobs. I will only be gone for the day, I’m actually flying out in the morning and returning later that night. I hope I get some jobs out of this visit, I could use the mullah since I’ll be going part time in just 2 weeks!!!!
Sorry for the picture less post, I’ll be back tomorrow AM with a beautiful breakfast post, and I’ll try to post a few times tomorrow to make up for my lack of pizazz (due to illness) lately! Have a good Wednesday!
