I don’t want this to be just another food blog. Yes I have been inspired by several of my blogging friends to begin such an Endeavour however this is not another “i ate this today” type of blog. This is my story. I have modeling contracts in L.A., New York, Tokyo, and Auckland, New Zealand, and I am currently working on some contacts in Chicago. So you see, staying trim and healthy is not only a part of my life…its a part of my job. I am 21 years old and took a hiatus from modeling to finish my degree in dietetics at UNL. Although I still model on the side school is my main priority. But i have to stay in top shape in case a job does come up. This is a blog about how I juggle school, working, modeling, and life. WELCOME!

Very cool! If you don’t mind me asking, how tall are you and how old were you when you got into modeling? It’s something that I’ve always been kind of interested in.
I look forward to reading your blog!

Hi Clara! I’m so happy you asked that because that is EXACTLY the type of information I want to provide people with! I plan on doing a whole post on how I got started so stay tuned for that, should be up later this week. I am 5 ft 10 inch and weight 127 although it fluctuates about 3 lbs. I was 17 when i first got started with modeling and it began with a local modeling contest in Omaha that i took 1st place in my category and 2nd place overall. After that i got the bug and began making local connections and then it just kept growing. First step is to contact local agencies in your area, now matter how tiny they are! And like i said, stay tuned for the whole story
Thanks for reading!

I think staying in shape is good for all women-especially women who have had children. Today, someone mistook my smoke stack (artistic photo) avatar for a person who must be jealous and hideous so I posted my stats on my poetry blog–you know-to be fun.
But seriously, it is good to stay in shape.
I wish you much luck in modeling; you are very beautiful so I am sure you will do well.
I found your blog on the wordpress.com page–otherwise I would never have seen it as I keep a poetry blog. Your blog is cute.

Oh my god you have a blog.
and I didn’t even know!!
I’m reading it tomorrow…all of it.
I know a celebrity, wow.
Um, let’s see…standard compliments…oh yeah. You’re very beautiful. How tall are you? It’s cool that you go to school, work, and model. Where do you go to school? Are you a natural blonde? It’s cool if you’re not. Will you consider this harrassment even if I’m your bestest? HAHA
But seriously…I’m jealous.
Dinner tomorrow night?

So, I watched the SATC episode last night where Bunny says the “George McFaddum” phrase, and it was so random that I simply had to know more. Typed it in on google and this blog was like the only relevant result that came up because of your post on Jan 26th. Checked it out, poked around a bit, and…I absolutely love your blog! Will continue to check you out! I always wanted to model but never pursued it and the years passed. At 29 yrs old, I doubt I’d get any work now, lol. So good luck with your career/school/life and may much success come to you!

This blog should be really interesting because I also model and it’s fun to see other people’s techniques. Good luck!

Sounds about as complicated as going to school and being a photographer on the side.
Good stuff!
